I think that was meant more like a suggestion, not that we actually have
to talk about what will be in it. If someone wants to set up a small
page like "10 steps to your first KDE 2.0 program with KDevelop 1.3"
that would be enough and to correct the article he wants to write.
Anyone willing to do this ? I know this is explained in the handbooks
but I can´t change peoples mind with telling them RTFM over and over
again ;-)
BTW: I asked David Sweet if we could replace the current kde2
development handbook with a copy of the docs of the KDE 2.0 development
book that is going to be published. That way we would get rid of the
outdated stuff and have the newest infos about KDE 2 development
included with 1.3, and the docs will be published at the beginning of
november. I´d like to have this in KDevelop somehow and if this would
mean a delay for a week until lets say Nov. 15th that wouldn´t hurt in
regards to the gain we would get and everybody would download 1.3.
Also I played with the new qt linugist and there is a way to implement
support for it if we only add SOURCES, TRANSLATIONS and INTERFACES to
the makefile.am of the project and enable "add translation" for Qt with
the generation of the according files. ldupdate would do the rest I
think if we call this on a qt project when the user chooses "make
messages". I´ll have a look this afternoon if we could implement that in
a short way without too much trouble, I already added methods to
CProject to decide for a KDE1,KDE2,QT1, QT2 project yesterday.
