Bug Description ---------------------------

If an autosave occurs while I am typing, the typed in characters
sometimes find their way into other files than the one I am editing.
This is annoying because it leads to build errors in the affected files
and increases build times because it causes files to be touched
that otherwise would not have needed recompiling.
