Bug#6374: Infinite Kdevelop loop

Package: Kdevelop
Version: 1.2-1

My name: Henrique Bucher
email: henrique at bucher.com

Error class: software-bug
Error location: Project management
Severity: (critical)

Kde version: 1.1.2
Qt version: 2.1.0 (using 1.44 for compiling)
OS/distribution: RedHat 6.1 kernel 2.2.14
Compiler: gcc 2.91.66

Problem description:
KDEVELOP enters a infinite loop while opening a project. I've tested, it's
because there's a symbolic link into project directories. Kdevelop seems
do do a depth test inside each subdirectory and, in this particular case,
there's no cyclic reference loop. The screen freezes just before reading my
Makefile (this is a custom project - makefile is generated by me).

The problem gets resolved if I remove a symbolic link to my network space (in
the "odin" host). This link points to "/mnt/odin/fred" and "fred" is mounted
via NFS into host "odin".
A result of "find . -depth" is shown after in this message (pocpar is my project

I hope this helps you to do this great program better.

Best regards

Henrique Bucher

./pocpar/odin ########THIS IS THE LINK#######
