What should the stop button do?

1) Stop a compilation
2) Stop a program run
3) Stop a program run in the debugger
4) Stop a full text search
5) Stop a grep

or any combination of these :-)

Separating them has the advantage that one can
still use any kind of searching during a long
compilation. But then we must provide a separate
'stop' item in the context menu of the respective
part.

I don't care which way we go, but technically
a decision is necessary...
