Package: kdevelop
Version: 1.1beta2
Severity: grave

Bugreport ID : 01:13,12.02.00

Originator	: Steven Brown
E-Mail : swbrown at ucsd.edu

Subject : Kdevelop doesn't seem to use kdoc correctly (with KDE 1.1.2)

Error Class	: software bug
Error Location	: build process
Priority	: medium
Bug Description ---------------------------

Kdoc doesn't work as it seems kdevelop doesn't pass the -n option
where I assume it should. The arguments it passes to kdoc are:
-p -d/the/api/directory project_name files
The problem is, as I see it, the project_name field needs a -n before
it. Not using it makes kdoc fail on my system as it tries to open it like
a file, and that file doesn't exist.

An additional documentation note, ksgml2html doesn't seem to work
with the sgml2html on RedHat 6.1 as that sgml2html doesn't take
the -N option. Might be useful for a FAQ question when the final
version comes out.

How to repeat the error -------------------

Bugfix or Workaround ----------------------

Add -n to kdoc arguments? Not sure, never used kdoc, but that
seems to be what it wants. Maybe people had files in their dirs that
matched their project name so that's why this bug hadn't been noticed
before?
