Package: kdevelop
Version: 1.0beta1
Severity: grave

Bugreport ID : 21:02,23.08.99

Originator	: Erwin Hogeweg
E-Mail	: erwin at hogeweg.demon.nl

Subject : configuration/makefile

Error Class	: software bug
Error Location: build process
Priority	: low
Bug Description ---------------------------

When I change a file from a c-file to a cpp-file the IDE fails to accept the new filename although I have removed the c-file and added the cpp file.
When I build the project for some reason or another the c-files remains active.
In the Makefile nor in the projectfile can a reference to the old name be found...

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -g -O2 -c sendremo.c
gcc: sendremo.c: No such file or directory
gcc: No input files
make: *** [sendremo.o] Error 1
*** failed ***

How to repeat the error -------------------

save a c-file as cpp-file. Remove the c-file from the project and add the cpp-file to the project.

Bugfix or Workaround ----------------------
