Sorry, but a release is always much work. (new splashscreen,
building distribution incl. testing, announcements, building  binaries
....) and you know we haven't much time. I would prefer to annouce the last
testing phase on kde-devel@ and kdevelop@ next week. This is much less work
(we have already daily snapshots) and I think we reach many people
nevertheless.
