Package: kdevelop
Version: 1.0beta3
Severity: normal
Bugreport ID : 19:31,11.11.99
Originator : Federico David Sacerdoti
E-Mail : fds at slinuxmachines.com
Subject : cut and paste
Error Class : software bug
Error Location: editor
Priority : medium
Bug Description ---------------------------
I cannot cut and paste from an external text editor (say kedit) into
the kdevelop editor.
The Kdevelop editor only recogizes copy events from *inside*
the editor, not from an external text viewer.
This is a problem.
How to repeat the error -------------------
This problem seems to be because Kdevelops cut/paste buffer
does not get *overwritten* by an external cut or copy event.
The first time one is tried, it seems to work; but as soon as
an internal cut/copy is done, it will remain in the buffer.
I hope thats not too unclear.
