Kmail crashes when typing a recipient email

I remember I had some similar behaviour a few months ago. Can you post the versions you are using? My problem got fixed very quickly, thus I dont know much more about it. I remember it seemed to be about certificate chains or so... faintly... IIRR it only crashed if the recipients PGP/* came with an "official chain" of certs, but I may be totally wrong.

turn off crypto signature/encryption and see if the error prevails
