Monospaced Font for Message Body in KMail

Hi,
As I mentioned in a previous conversation, I read and compose emails in plain
text only. My KMail version is 6.3.3 (24.12.3)
When reading emails, I prefer to use a monospaced font, such as DejaVu Sans
Mono.
However, if I change the Message Body font to a monospaced one in the
preferences, the entire message display adopts this font, including the
subject line, sender and recipient names and addresses, and other elements of
the Preview Pane. I would expect only the actual email text to be rendered in
the chosen monospaced font.
Why is there no option in KMail’s preferences to specify a monospaced font for
the email body while keeping the rest of the Preview Pane in a sans-serif
font, such as Noto Sans?
Thanks,
Aldo
