I renamed ./local/share/akonadi/db_data to ./local/share/akonadi/erase-db_data. On
starting kmail again kmail created a new db_data file which, eventually, seemed to
populate the files OK. But some old, read emails are still showing as unread when I start
kmail in the morning.

I see other files in ./local/share/akonadi and perhaps if I delete one or more of them it
might help but I am concerned that I might delete my emails.

Also, I don't see an akonadi config file anywhere. If I could find and delete it, that might
help.

Any suggestions as to how I might better deal with this long-standing problem would be
most appreciated.
