Kmail 5.10.0: Empty message-list pane & message-body pane

Deleted ~/.local/share/akonadi (but not Baloo)  then starterd akonadictl.
Just keeps churning out line after line of e.g.

  “The hash has changed.”
  “15->QFlags(0x2) 0”

Given now trying Kmail 5.10.0 in a Plasma5 install, what does the team 
recommend as the procedure to re-index the email DB, please?

(E.g. First delete some Akonadi and/or Baloo directory, then restart 
Akonadi?
      Which of their directories?)
