It requires that you enable Rich-Text for the mail, though (no table pasting to text only mails. Font format and cell background will be copied, cell borders and widths will not, so you might need to reformat the table after pasting (by placing the cursor in the table and clicking the table icon from the tool bar). No it does not require Rich-Text If you just what the contents of a table it is possible to paste a table into plain text mails The cell content is separated with tabstops as in this example (To-Do list for LPD 2018.2). it still needs some reformatting as Andreas mentioned, but it works for the contents. > E-Mail an StaBi mit Bitte um Terminreservierung M. In-Reply-To: References: <3112304.QAmpIY0X2P@desk> Message-ID: <1948704.KzP8atGSVh@trooper> Hi I have now had three times (if I remember correctly) where a dialogue message pops up and says words to the effect of "The folder you deleted belonged to the inbox for (account name), incoming messages will now be put into the general inbox" or words to that effect. However it was not ME that deleted anything ... I was not even at the computer. And don't think I have an intruder lurking around inside my PC .... The last one was for my main email account, and now the messages are landing in general inbox, and filters don't work there. Is this a known bug? Solutions / workarounds? Is it really deleted from the disk (supposing there's an on-disk equivalent)? Do you have expiry set up for the accounts in question? R. Do you have expiry set > up for the accounts in question? > No, my mail folders are totally screwed (KDE PIM three different updates screwed things up three times over recent years, back to 2013). Currently mail is stored in some sort of Akonadi cache directory (numbered folders) rather than where it is supposed to go. As far as I can remember, all three deleted folders were "inbox for xxx account" (I have numerous POP3 mail accounts, each with own inbox. All mail is POP3, no IMAP) Of course, right after posting my above message, mail started arriving and landing in the usual folder, and what's more, at least one filter (that was been broken on automatic, but working on manual), started working automatically ... And this is while KDE was running ... I did restart Kmail after things looked odd but last software updates were yesterday, so don't know if some library in memory got reloaded or what .... and behaviour is suddenly different. Or if Akonadi now has some sort of "heal myself" mode running slowly in the background. I've given up trying to understand what Kmail/Akonadi does ... :-) Thanks, Ian -- ian at zti.co.za http://www.zti.co.za Zero 2 Infinity - The net.works Phone +27-21-975-7273 From mailinglisten at kmHessler.de Tue Feb 26 17:36:51 2019 From: mailinglisten at kmHessler.de (Hessler, Klaus-Michael) Date: Tue, 26 Feb 2019 18:36:51 +0100 Subject: [Kde-pim] KDE-PIM issue after upgrading to MariaDB Message-ID: Hello, Using kUBUNTU 18.04. I wanted to upgrade mySQL to MariaDB. The upgrade did run well so I removed mySQL and installed MariaDB, which runs OK now. Furthermore I moved the DataDir from /var/lib/mysql to /mnt/driveX/.../mySQL. Also this is fine with several Databases. Now I wanted to start kAlarm again, which has been installed earlier. First it was claiming about "Akonadi not running" and I fixed it as mentioned here : akonadictl stop rm -r ~/.local/share/akonadi akonadictl start Now I have: $ akonadictl status Akonadi Control: running Akonadi Server: running Akonadi Server Search Support: available (Remote Search) Available Agent Types: akonadi_indexing_agent $ kalarm org.kde.pim.kidentitymanagement: IdentityManager: There was no default identity. Marking first one as default. The kAlarm GUI window is claiming about "No Akonadi Agents available, check KDE-PIM-Installation". How can I solve this KDE-PIM issue?
