kaddressbook and postgresql

Hi

I've just updated kontact on one of my accounts to use postgres and all the emails seem fine.  
I just can't access my contacts in ~/.local/share/contacts.  Do i just have to reimport them or should they show up automatically after the move to postgres?  The folder is full of vcf files, is there a way to import them all in one go if importing is the solution?
