Of course I mean KDE releases. And yet don't individual applications have
their own version numbers? Or are those locked to KDE releases? And which KDE
releases? Plasma? Applications? Frameworks?

I'm quite confused and frustrated here, because I don't think I have the
appropriate semantic map to communicate clearly in this context.

In lieu of kde.org, here are three seemingly-relevant Wikipedia pages:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KDE_Plasma_5
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KDE_Frameworks_5
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KDE_Applications

Per those sites, pages, Plasma 5 is presently at 5.6.3. (Which is what I'm
running here.) Frameworks 5 is at 5.20.0. (This appears to be outdated, as I'm
running 5.21.0.) Applications appears to be at 16.04. Darned if I know what
I'm running; I have rocs and klines at 15.12.3, kontact, kdepim-runtime,
kdepimlibs at 4.14.10...

Should I expect "About Kontact" to report 16.04.0 or some such once the
upgrade becomes available on my system?
