[kdepim-users] hooking into attachment attaching

I am wondering what I could do to intercept image attachments so I can resize them before they're actually attached to a message. On my phone, using GMail, I can attach a photo and it asks what size I want. I'd like to be able to do that on my desktop with KMail. Is there any way to do (something like) this?
