[kdepim-users] "mailing list/post new message" starts up Thunderbird?!?!

Best for 2015!

I have something weird. I'd already noticed that some applications will launch Thunderbird instead of using the running kontact/kmail instance when I use a mailto: URI or similar.

Now, I find that kontact/kmail itself does the same when I click on the "post new message" action in the Message/Mailing List menu.

WTH? And more importantly, what can I do about it? AFAIK I have configured my system (Kubuntu 14.04) to use kmail, though I did use Thunderbird at some point in the past.
