Thanks, that also worked on 4.12.x already, and probably before. I was looking for something that doesn't require trackpad manipulations and also that toggles between my selected message list height and 0 height.
I'm kind of OCDish when it comes to my UI preferences and personal settings, once they work for me, I just want to use them and do my own work. It seems I'm a bit of an exception among Linux users in that aspect, but that's another topic ;)
