[kdepim-users] How do I filter on sender = Unknown or date = Unknown?

The filter criterion
  From "does not contain" "@"
might do what you want since a valid From address always contains an @.

For the date something like
  Date "is before" <some long ago date>
might work, but I haven't tested this.
