sorry, can't help with this.

$ export KIMAP_LOGFILE=$HOME/kimap.log
$ akonadictl restart

The IMAP resource will now create bunch of kimap.log.* files in your home 
directory with full record of the IMAP communication.

You can also expect some performance optimizations of the IMAP resource in KDE 
4.12 :)
