[kdepim-users] KOrganizer suffers from amnesia? (Forgets Free/Busy settings)

Hi all,

just another problem I ran into during our pilot with KDE 4.11.2/Kubuntu
13.10: KOrganizer does not seem to remember the Free/Busy settings... When I
go to Settings -> Configure KOrganizer -> Free/Busy -> Retrieve, I can enter
all information that is needed to make Free/Busy retrieval working with our
Kolab V2.x server, then hit Apply. Free/Busy retrieval will then stay working
while Kontact is running, but when I close Kontact, all settings are gone on
next start and Free/Busy retrieval does no longer work until I enter all the
necessary information again. Also, if I open that dialogue more or less
directly after I have entered that information, all settings are gone and all
fields and checkboxes are empty. It looks as if none of the information sticks
at all. Funny enough, KOrganizer DOES store it - $HOME/.kde/share/korganizerrc
contains all the right information, but apparently, it does not get read back
on start.

I've already filed a bug for this
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=326139), but as this is essential
groupware functionality, this is a show-stopper for our roll-out - hence, I
decided to ask here as well if anybody has seen this and/or or has any ideas
how to debug this.

Thanks in advance,

Thomas
