Actually I found out something different. If I have a folder with a mixed
set of indexed and non-indexed mails and if I force a reindex (in KMail
folder options) than the feeder tries to index any non-indexed mail, but
fails to fetch those.
Example:
My folder has 288 mails, 11 are indexed (checked with
nepomukpimindexerutility). Forcing a reindex I get following log:
akonadi_nepomuk_feeder(6645) ItemQueue::fetchJobResult: Not all items were
fetched: 0 100
akonadi_nepomuk_feeder(6645) ItemQueue::fetchJobResult: Not all items were
fetched: 0 100
akonadi_nepomuk_feeder(6645) ItemQueue::fetchJobResult: Not all items were
fetched: 0 77
None of the mails is actually reindexed. However, I always wondered, why
some of those actually got indexed. Now I recognized, that it happens if I
select the mail in KMail and it is displayed in the preview. Then it is also
suddenly indexed. Similar effect has the RDF tab of the browser in
akonadiconsole. 10 items seem to be fetched for the item list and they are
suddenly indexed (seems to be the 10 items with the "lowest" Remote Id).
This is so weird!
