Unfortunately it looks like kmail2 is not going to finish indexing on my 
system.  I had to reboot a week ago and since then the combination of 
akonadiconsole, virtuoso-t, dbus-daemon and neopmukservicestub have consumed 
14500 minutes of CPU or 242 hours.  They're currently using about 5GB of ram 
with the lion's share going to virtuoso-t and dbus-daemon.

With all the old bugs popping back up (this indexing crap, the "can't move" 
messages when deleting) and the existing bugs I really can't recommend that 
anyone use kmail2.
