Hi,
I'm using openSuSE 12.3 with KDE 4.10.3 and when I click on the search icon I
get the message :
"The Nepomuk semantic search service is not available. Searching is not
possible without it. You can enable it in "System Settings"."
I've checked those settings and they have not changed i.e. I always had email
indexing turned on. I also turned on file indexing (just in case).
But still no joy.
The following are the nepomuk and akonadi processes running :
/usr/bin/nepomukcontroller -session
101a31b3180115000133250452700000052810029_1370697793_464945
/usr/bin/akonadi_control
akonadiserver
/usr/sbin/mysqld ARGS
/usr/bin/akonadi_agent_launcher akonadi_akonotes_resource
akonadi_akonotes_resource_1
/usr/bin/akonadi_archivemail_agent --identifier akonadi_archivemail_agent
/usr/bin/akonadi_birthdays_resource --identifier akonadi_birthdays_resource
/usr/bin/akonadi_agent_launcher akonadi_contacts_resource
akonadi_contacts_resource_0
/usr/bin/akonadi_imap_resource --identifier akonadi_imap_resource_0
/usr/bin/akonadi_imap_resource --identifier akonadi_imap_resource_1
/usr/bin/akonadi_maildispatcher_agent --identifier
akonadi_maildispatcher_agent
/usr/bin/akonadi_mailfilter_agent --identifier akonadi_mailfilter_agent
/usr/bin/akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource --identifier
akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource_0
/usr/bin/akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource --identifier
akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource_1
/usr/bin/akonadi_nepomuk_feeder --identifier akonadi_nepomuk_feeder
/usr/bin/akonadi_nepomuktag_resource --identifier akonadi_nepomuktag_resource
/usr/bin/akonadi_pop3_resource --identifier akonadi_pop3_resource_0
/usr/bin/akonadi_agent_launcher akonadi_vcard_resource
akonadi_vcard_resource_2
nepomukserver
/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub nepomukstorage
/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub nepomukfileindexer
/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub nepomukfilewatch
It looks like it there is no nepomuk email indexer or is that built in ?
Anyone any idea why searching is not working from KMail ?
Thanks,
Con Hennessy
