I am afraid it is one of those "I searched the internet and found mail 
or info that seemed to verify that 64-bit CRM114 has issues" but have 
not saved where and/or when I did so.

point though is that currently I use both CRM114 and Spambayes and it 
seems to work fine, distro being Kubuntu 12.10 64-bit and KDE 4.10.4
