OK, today I downloaded Kubuntu 12.04 Beta with KDE 4.8.0 and installed 
in Virtualbox and I can confirm that autocompletion of email addresses 
from addresbooks do not work in that environment, "fresh out of the box 
new user". I was going to try Chakra too but it seems to have issues 
with Virtualbox.
