Nope - I have always used KWallet with a password, and had no problems
with it. I would suggest opening kwalletmanager and removing the
existing wallet, setting up a new one, and looking carefully at the
config options, particularly the option of when kwallet should close.
If something nasty has crept into the configs, this fresh start
should cure it.
