Assuming that the backup is from before the date of the corruption,
that's definitely the best bet. If it's too recent, then a clean new
wallet is the only thing left.
As a matter of interest, how did it get corrupted? I ask because in
10+ years I've never had this happen. Did you have a power problem
that could have caused it?
