I´ve given up on KMail2 and migrated to Mozilla Thunderbird. I´ve used
KMail for years, but KMail2 is just terrible, virtually unusable. I have
lost emails, filter rules did not get applied, Akonadi produced conflict
messages when deleting email. This just was too much for me. With
Thunderbird, get the Lightning addon and you have a nice PIM solution.
Not as powerful as KMail, but it comes very close and it is reliable! I
won´t go back to KMail any time soon. Maybe in a year or two I might
give KMail2 a second chance, but not earlier.
