Hi Kevin,

thanks for the quick answer. The inbox and outbox do contain these (however,
the main Mail directory does not):

krailli:~> ll -d ~/Mail/*box*
drwxr-xr-x 5 users 4096 May 1 16:04 /home/gunterl/Mail/inbox
drwxr-xr-x 5 users 4096 May 1 16:12 /home/gunterl/Mail/outbox

krailli:~> ll ~/Mail/*box*
/home/xxx/Mail/inbox:
total 20
drwxr-xr-x 2 users 12288 May 1 16:04 cur
drwxr-xr-x 2 users 4096 Mar 19 2006 new
drwxr-xr-x 2 users 4096 May 1 15:46 tmp

/home/xxx/Mail/outbox:
total 12
drwxr-xr-x 2 users 4096 Apr 29 18:16 cur
drwxr-xr-x 2 users 4096 Mar 19 2006 new
drwxr-xr-x 2 users 4096 Apr 29 18:16 tmp

Access is apparently also not a problem, so that cannot be it...
