I see it as a legitimate comment on the apparent elimination of a 
desirable and useful feature.

It is funny, isn't it? Even funnier is the fact that you and apparently 
Ms Wilson (both of whom who are far more in the know than most of us) 
also didn't know that it had merely been moved to the View menu and just 
rushed to make rxcuses. I don't think you have a basis for feeling 
insulted. None of us is clairvoyant.

Then you need to join Mr McKinnon and me in suggesting to the 
development team that they find a way to give users a clue about where 
familiar features have been arbitrarily stashed or that they put up with 
the complaints when we (and you) lose the hide-and-seek game.
