My last experience with SuSE dates back to 2002, but:

 * the package list for 11.3 says that it ships kdepim 4.4.4
 * Tobias König (kaddressbook developer) somewhere wrote that most of the
   missing features are back in 4.5


You may conclude for yourself what is to be expected...
