Hi John,

I had an issue with VNC and my desktop where my keyboard would appear
as if I had hit the `Caps lock'  I'm not sure if it's related to your
situation but I thought I'd mention it.  :)

I fixed the problem by running `x11vnc' with the `-skip_lockkeys'
switch.

As an example, I use the following Autostart script to start `VNC' on
my desktop:

killall x11vnc > /dev/null 2>&1

x11vnc -skip_lockkeys -cursor some -nobell -wcr top -rfbauth ~/.vnc/passwd -fore
ver -display :0 -bg -rfbport 5900 &
