Hi Ingo,
are you aware of such a thing being developed or at least in discussion among
developers? Would you recommend to file a feature request? I consider the option
to store settings, mails, etc. quite important and the KDE-PIM suite should have
it if possible. It would be really a nice thing to have, as I lost a whole bunch
of data, namely addressbooks, when doing a new installation as I had not backed
up all the files and folders mentioned in previous mails in this thread. Only
some of them, which was at least a little bit useful.
