[kdepim-users] Howto configure kpilot for usbserial and visor?

Hi,

I now have collections in kpilot (don't ask me how they got there) and
chosen standard calendar and addressbook entries.

However, kpilot (5.3.0) does not talk to my treo 680, I guess I have
some configuration wrong in kpilots setting dialog.

I tried /dev/ttyUSB0, /dev/ttyUSB1, usb:, /dev/pilot, but nothing works.
I also variated the serial connection speed, but without success.

Everything I find in google is at least 3 years old, pointing to
different tips howto configure udev rules, loading usbserial and visor
modules and so on.

I really tried alot, but can't get it working. I could stick with
msynctool and the opensync-plugins 0.22, but I can only sync with a side
win for either kontact or treo, not with "... conflict n" to merge
changes made on both sides and keep the newer entries.

Could anyone point me to a howto or tell me how to configure kpilot for
Palm Treo 680 right?

Here's what my syslog says, and as I said msynctool works (kind of), so
problem should be somewhere else:

Do I need module ark3116 for the usb cable? Kernel running is 2.6.30.

Cheers
