I use KDE 4.2.4 and my Kontact Handbook is exactly like the one found at 
<http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdepim/kontact/index.html>. I get a list with 
links to every component if I click on "Kontact Components", but I don't see 
the components on the first page. Has that changed from 3.5?
