Ok, I finally solved the problem! How? Copy/paste each event. I selected 10
events from the old vCal file and pasted them into the std.ics. Started
KOrganizer and they were there. Then I did the next 10 or something (just to
make sure nothing went wrong in the mean time).
I noticed quite some differences between the files. Mostly because one is at
"VERSION: 1.0", the other has version 2.0. I think that caused the problems
and KOrganizer fails to convert an old version of a vCalendar file into a newer
version (am I right?).
A pity it costs me hours to copy all the events, but I'm glad I finally have a
working calendar system. If this is a new discovered bug, I'm available to
help finding the cause.
Regards, Jurian
