I may do that.
This very same phenomenon has happened two or three times before since I
first came aboard with Linux (openSuSE) just over a year ago. The
previous instances eventually went away by themselves, and I may just
give that a chance to happen again.
If it is really true that only now has Kmail been endowed with a
convenient mechanism for reindexing, it is remarkable, but better late
than never. Even PolarBar Mailer had it many years ago.
