[kdepim-users] how to fetch googlemail?

KMail 1.9.10
Created a new ID, a new account, configured GMail to act as POP3, put 
pop|smtp.googlemail.com in server fields, still each time I try and fetch it I 
get "can't log in".

Am I missing something here?
