[kdepim-users] functionality of tabs in mailboxes

Hi there,

I am just curious what the functionality of the tabbed appearance of the e-
mail list would be, when you are viewing a folder. There is an option to open 
new tab(s) but you cannot link that tab to anywhere, as far as I could figure. 
There is no "Open in new tab" option in the context menu of the folders, 
either.

This tab area I am talking about is just above the search box, which is above 
the e-mail list in a given folder. I am using Mandriva 2009.0 with KDE 4.2.0, 
Kontact 1.4, Kmail 1.11.0.
