[kdepim-users] Kontact crashes

A few days ago I suddenly started getting frequent kontact crashes.  They can 
happen while I am reading mail, or while it is in the background.  I use a 
local imap server, so it's possible that they are during a check for mail.

This is not a recent update of kontact -

and it has been stable until recently.  I'm assuming that a recent update of 
something (library?) has upset it.  Any hints on troubleshooting this, 
please?
