Follow-up.

This morning, tried once again to sync the client box. Again, inbox is
sync'ed. but the 'new' entry on the calendar is not imported.

I have now set up a similar account on this laptop (Mandrive 2008 and kde
3.5.90. The behaviour is strange and inconsistent. First, just as Martin
has described, the icons on the new folders were not properly set up. I had
to set them as kolab folders, then change back again to ical/vcard folders,
and the settings remained.

The first time I checked mail for this new dimap account, inbox, calendar and
addressbook folders sync'ed - that is, apart from the 'new' entry on the
calendar, which, like the other box, is not imported.

The calendar resource displayed properly, but the addressbook did not display
at all. I had to create a new resource for the addressbook - and this one
looks like no other one on any of my systems - it has a sub-folder 'My
Contacts' and that is where the addresses reside.

This is reading like a blog :-) but sharing experiences is as useful as
directly asking for help :-)
