[kdepim-users] KMail: Meaning of red folder names&sizes?

Hi,

using KMail 1.9.6/1.9.9 (KDE 3.5.7/3.5.9, openSUSE 10.3),
looking at the folders pane, for one of the accounts (cached IMAP)
suddenly all folder names and sizes are printed red
(the column with the total numbers of messages remains black).
This looks like the new messages in the headers pane.

What does this mean/indicate?

The folders do not contain new messages and the
quota is not reached yet...

I've read through parts of the Help (KMail handbook) and
looked at http://kontact.kde.org/kmail/ with no success.
http://kmail.kde.org/manual/using-kmail.html#the-mail-reader-window
only lists the status symbols of messages, not folders.

Thanks,
	Martin

P.S.:
I checked http://kontact.kde.org/kmail/features.php
if this is a new feature, and apparently there are no
features added in KMail 1.9 (?)
http://kmail.kde.org/ redirects to http://kontact.kde.org/kmail/,
but where is http://kmail.kde.org/manual/?
