Well, then you'll absolutely hate my suggestion to use whatever text editor
you like then. KPilot has offered a plain text/regular file syncing conduit
for the Palm's Memos application for a while now. It's the same
functionality that gnome-pilot's memofile conduit offers. Basically, you
tell KPilot what directory to sync with and it will create a directory per
category and then 2-way sync memos with plain text files in those
directories.
I'm not sure what you're looking for, but there's a problem intrinsic to
syncing anything other than plain text notes to the Palm and that is that
the Palm doesn't know what to do with fancy text (html, rtf, etc., etc.).
