Not knowing what you have tried, it's hard to tell you what to do.  I 
assume that you have downloaded kpilot and all its dependencies.  If 
not, do that first, and then come back.  If you have, set the device to 
usb: and the speed to 9600.  Turn off addressbook, unless there are no 
addresses in the T|X, and you just want to load.
