I suggest to enable HTML only for selected folders to which you filter
messages from people you know. I strongly suggest to disable HTML for
folders showing unfiltered messages (like the inbox folder) and for
your trash and spam folders.
You can enable/disable HTML viewing per folder via the corresponding
entry in the Folder menu.
