[kdepim-users] Moving data from KDEPIM 3 to KDEPIM 4

I will begin testing KDEPIM's KDE 4 port before moving my data there.
To do that, which method would be preferable for moving my data:
1) Copying ~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf and
~/.kde/share/apps/korganizer/std.ics manually to there respective
locations in the new install.
2) Copying ~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf and
~/.kde/share/apps/korganizer/std.ics to the new installed system, and
importing them with KDEPIM's import funtion.
3) Exporting the calendar/todo as ical | vcal (which is better?) and
the contacts as csv | ldif | vcard 2.1 | vcard 3.0 (which is best?)?

As for the configuration and preferences, I would rather reconfigure
them from scratch than try to import them from KDE 3 as I would like
to familiarize myself with KDE 4's KDEPIM.

Thanks in advance.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
