[kdepim-users] no pc to palm xfer

I just set up my stock eee pc to sync with my palm Zire 21. On my first sync, 
the  palm calendar was moved to the PC and then the palm calendar was 
emptied.  Try as i might, I cannot get the PIM calendar data written back to 
the palm.  I doesn't appear that contact info is being synced back to the 
palm either. . 

any ideas??
