The description of this bug fits my problem, and it is one of the last few
issues preventing me from switching back to Kmail.

Send link from Firefox sends the link via Kmail composer, when email is opened
in it is not a clickable link.
Send the link from Firefox with Thunderbird as default and using Thunderbird
composer and opening in Kmail a clickable link is produced.

Please fix Kmail Composer to send a clickable link when emailing a link from
Firefox.
