            Bug ID: 507826
Summary: Address autocompletion does not work with "IBus
                    Wayland" virtual keyboard
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kmail2
      Version First 6.4.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: composer
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: bovender at bovender.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When I switch the Virtual Keyboard from the default "Maliit" to "IBus Wayland"
(System Settings -> Keyboard -> Virtual Keyboard), address autocompletion in
KMail stops working. I can reproducibly enable or disable address
autocompletion just by switching virtual keyboards and hitting "Apply".

I would love to be able to have both -- IBUs Wayland (so I can type in Unicode
characters by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+U followed by the character code) as well as
address autocompletion in KMail.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to System Settings -> Keyboard -> Virtual Keyboard
2. Select "IBus Wayland" and hit Apply
3. Attempt to have KMail autocomplete an address that is being typed in the
composer window.

OBSERVED RESULT
Address is not being completed automatically.

EXPECTED RESULT
Address should be completed automatically.
